Welcome to Regina Writes!

I’m a 31 year old Gemini who is true to form, in that I always have a million things going on at once: I have a full-time job dealing with medical insurance denials, a part-time job serving coffee, another part-time (dream) job as a pet sitter, and yet another super-part-time job as an essential oil advocate AND I’m going to school to finish my undergraduate degree! I’m passionate about animals – all animals, as you can see from my picture! – and I’m slowly figuring out how to become the most successful, happiest version of myself that I can be.

My life has had a LOT of ups and downs and they’ve all led me to this exact moment at this exact place and I couldn’t possibly be more grateful; which is why I’m going to focus on gratitude in this blog. Recently, I’ve realized that I’m experiencing true, pure gratitude deep in my heart and soul and it is…well…overwhelming! I’ve cried a lot of tears of gratitude recently, which has been quite confusing because the depth at which I feel this emotion is usually reserved only for sadness.

So, welcome to my slightly scattered, extremely vulnerable, hopefully encouraging, but, above all, gratitude-filled blog! Let me know what you think in the comments section!

I have long-term goals, but I struggle with making short-term goals. I love all animals, but favor cats as pets. I don’t actually love monkeys (or the like) but I respect them […]

New Moon Goals

New Moon Goals

For the past several months, I’ve begun taking notice of what the moon is doing. I follow Allison DuBois on Facebook and she regularly posts about when Mercury goes into retrograde, anytime a sign enters an opposition, what the moon is doing and in what sign, and what that all means for us. I’ve learned that there are reasons why I feel certain ways with […]

It’s good to have goals. It’s okay not to reach them.

Last week I announced my goals for the week. Today, I’m gonna check in on those goals and set some new ones for the week ahead! Last week’s goals were: Recommit to blogging. Make at least 2 posts this week. Have all homework done by Friday. Make a set of rules for using Spanish with Elizabeth. Schedule an eye appointment. Week two of no sugar […]

What’s another month, anyway…

Whew! It’s good to be back on here and sharing. Yesterday I told you I was going to recommit to this blog and that I’ve got a lot to say… today I start talkin’! I guess it’s time for me to update you all on my current health status. I posted a lot about being in the hospital and that whole process, but since I’ve […]
